Sorry for the overexposed pictures(
still don't know how to use my digital camera). Any way have you ever overclocked
your computer and wished it were outside in the winter because it's cold
out there but did not want it to hang precariously out the window (didn't
want it to fall), Then here's your answer THE AMAZING, ONE OF A KIND, GHETTO
WINDOW COOLER!!! (patent pending).
It's an old box I hacked up and
measured to fit the window. Then I taped it back together with the OverClocker's
best friend DuctTape (warning duct tape does conduct electricity and shound
not be used on electronics), The fan in the picture is an old delta that
came off an old heatsink (it was too loud!) I sed a pop can with
both ends hacked off as a pipe inside the box, filled the rest of the box
with styrofoam peanuts and ran an old sump hose from the box to the heatsink.
The final product was the cold northern Michigan air being pushed onto
my processor. It cooled it from 125 degrees F to 111 degrees F under full
load with Eccp 109 running (it's like seti only a lot heavier)
