I was browsing around yesterday and came across the "Audi-Oh". It's a sound controlled vibrator for the ladies. I thought holy crap thats cool why do women get all the fun sex toys. Then I saw it cost $70 and I was a lot less impressed. I decided to make my own version of this vibrator out of a junked cdrom drive. I call it the

Ghett-Oh

Believe it or not, this is the most sexual cdrom ever.

After some smashing, here was the inside of the drive. I had 2 DC motors to choose from.


A vibrator is basically just an imbalanced motor, so you just need to stick on a chunk of metal to fuxor things up and make it shake its booty.

Looking around the circuit board I found some more useful things: A 20k variable resistor, some 1-100uF caps, and a transistor. While almost any NPN will work for this circuit, I used a 2N3904.

Also rip off the headphone jack from the drive.

The circuit. The audio signal comes from the tip of a 1/4" audio jack. Only AC is allowed to pass through the cap. The variable resistor sets the bias point of the transistor, and offers simple control over the intensity of the vibrations.

I used a battery clip from radio shack and a 9v battery for power, and took audio from my soundcard's output. I used a screwdriver to play with the pot. It all worked the first time, and the amount of vibration was clearly changed by the music.

To make the vibrator more.. vibratorish.. I had to find something phallic to stick the motor in. The best I could find was this vacuum cleaner attachment. Now just lube it up and stick it in. If you don't have a vagina handy, try standing under some power lines until you genetically mutate. That always works for Endo.

I recommend a drum & bass soundtrack to go with your new ghetto sex toy.
